Type- Canon, Fantasy
Diffculty- Intermediate to Advanced
Plot, if any-
It has been three years since the Great Cataclysm--the moment Ganondorf entered the Sacred Realm, claimed the Triforce of Power, and took control of the land of Hyrule. A darkness unlike any ever seen before has fallen over the land as Ganondorf's corruption grows and spreads like a disease. Utilizing his personal Legion, the citizens of Hyrule are forced to bow down to him...or die.
However, there is hope. A Resistance has risen, headed by three former Hyrulian Knights. Only the true of heart and mind stand a chance against Ganondorf and his dark fiends. Meeting them whenever they can in battle, the Resistance slowly but surely has become more and more of a threat to Ganondorf's seat of power. Perhaps one day they will overthrow the Dark King.
That is, if they are not interfered with as well. For in the Shadows lie a group of covert operatives with equally shady motives. With their only goal to return stability to Hyrule and maintain a careful balance between the forces of good and evil, they will stop at nothing to get the job done. They are made of manipulators and liars, and they are not to be trusted.
But then, who can in this day and age?
Among the Resistance and the Legion is also another power to contend with and that power lies in the Aristocracy, a wealthy group of nobles and business men who seek to create a new, better Hyrule instead of trying to bring back the old. They have a hand in most business and are the only thing separating Hyrule from economical collapse. They are the only faction tolerated by the Dark King for the benefits they provide Ganondorf's kingdom. Their policies don't directly conflict with either the Resistance or the Legion but they don't necessarily agree either, remaining the only government left standing since Ganondorf usurped the throne.
The Neutrals have found their own slice of peace by staying out of sight and out of mind, obeying the laws and helping whoever whenever if it helps them stay alive. They do not like Ganondorf or his new kingdom, but they have no choice but to bend to his will and rule.
The only people seemingly unaffected by this Imprisoning War are the Criminals. Focused almost solely on themselves, the criminals have been taking advantage of this wartime era. There is plenty of jobs to do, from smuggling to thieving and plenty of criminals nowadays to do them. Ruled by the mighty Rupee, no quest is out of the question for a criminal if the price is right.
Right now, the present seems bleak with their past seeming to repeat itself. The future is dark and the Hero foretold by the Goddesses seems to have disappeared. The seven Sages, too, have been taken prisoner by Ganondorf's evil. Is there anyone who will stand against this dark onslaught...or will they, too, fade with the failing light?
