They're listed at the bottom of otherverse.wikia.com/wiki/Listings. Anything for Chiaroscuro or OtherVerse is fair game. (Which sums up everything listed at the time of this writing, but perhaps not in the future). Also, note for the staff: Just to check out with you as a Productive Citizen (TM), if you look you'll also see the TRPGL banner listed under the "Listings" section.
Types of Species/Races Allowed-
There's a page on the Wiki and plenty of information on any of the following available classes/races:
Syladris - Naga
Freelander - Class
Wildlander - Class
Nobility - Class; Restricted
Sunkissed Cleric - Class; Restricted
Shadow-Touched Mage - Class; Restricted
Difficulty-
Well... advanced, honestly. We're generally considered elitists, but I promise we don't obsess over, say, the Oxford Comma.
Plot (If Any)-
Fastheld: it's a land histories and stories, a land of commoners and nobility, of struggle and political intrigue. It's an empire behind walls, hiding its face from the world outside. It's a place where the magic of the Shadow is shunned, and the blessings of the Light coveted. And now, with the creation of the Crown's Refuge outside the protective walls of the Aegis, it's a kingdom of people who are now discovering what's waiting on their doorstep.
Here at Chiaroscuro, we run on nothing more than a MUSH codebase, a basic internet connection, and a heck of a lot of imagination. With a host of friendly players and equally friendly staffers (who are more than willing to help out and answer any questions), there's always something to do. Of plot lines there's plenty, and rest assured that your characters (and everyone else's, too!) will grow with every scene. Come join us! You can have a character on the grid in the midst of the action in no time.
Other-
A MUSH, for those of you who aren't familiar with the term, is sort of like a chat room environment for roleplaying. Only, think of an uber-spifified chat room, with all sorts of extra Awesome Gadgets (TM) to make things a little easier. It runs off Telnet. Most computers come with a basic Telnet application, but I would recommend downloading a client, if you haven't already. There's some good ones out there that won't cost you a penny. For instance, you might look into Pueblo UE (pueblo.sourceforge.net/) or SimpleMU (simplemu.onlineroleplay.com/).
